Celery lettuce smoothie recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 head of organic romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 3-4 stalks of organic celery
  • 2 organic apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 organic banana
  • 1/3 bunch of organic cilantro
  • 1/3 bunch of organic parsley
  • Juice of ½ fresh organic lemon
Method:
Add the water and chopped head of romaine to the blender. Starting the blender on a low speed, mix until smooth. Gradually moving to higher speeds add the herbs celery and apples. Add the banana and lemon juice last.
This smoothie tastes yummy. The fruit and lemon cut right though the grass taste.
Feel free to mix and match different greens and fruits, as these two specific food groups combine well.

Strawberry smoothie recipe with Tips

Ingredients:
Banana: 1 ripe
Strawberry : Half cup
Yogurt : 2/3 cup
Sugar or honey : As your taste.

Method:
Wash strawberries , Chop strawberries in half and remove banana peels. In a blender, process all ingredients until smooth. Pour it in  beautiful glasses & enjoy!

Tips: Smart to use honey instead of sugar... It's so much healthier.
You can add milk too.Adding milk will give the strawberry smoothies a liquid feel.
You can use orange juice instead of Milk.
For a little extra flavor you may use a few drops of vanilla or almond extract .
If you are using frozen strawberries add some sugar or sweetened juice to the smoothie to create a sweeter taste.
